What Are The Animals?
Animals have common names, such as cow, dog, cat and chicken. Also, you may here the terms amphibians, reptiles, wildlife, livestock, etc. The terminology describing animals is vast, and it is important to understand this terminology if you decide to take a job in veterinary science. Livestock and Poultry
Several animals are considered to be livestock. These animals are what you think of when you think of a farm. For example, a cattle are considered to be livestock. Take a look at the different types of livestock and poultry.
Bovine refers to cattle, buffalo and bison.

Porcine resembles a pig, but swine refers to a pig.

Wildlife comes in many different varieties. Wildlife is the native animals to the region which can include birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates. When you think of wildlife in the United States, you may think of deer, bobcats, squirrels, fish, etc. If you are in a different country, you may think of lions and zebras (zoo animals). Below, you will find some common wildlife in the Michigan.
